Dailey Music Policies

1. Tuition

• Tuition is a flat $100 per month subscription to reserve a specified 30-minute weekly time slot. (Due to scheduling constraints, lessons average around 27 minutes.)

• Subscriptions automatically renew on the same calendar date each month. For example, if a subscription starts on the 5th, it will automatically renew on the 5th of each month until canceled.

Current students will be locked into the $100 per month rate for a 30-minute time slot as long as they remain enrolled. New students starting January 1, 2025, will be charged $105 per month for a 30-minute time slot.

• A subscription is required to reserve your lesson time. Without a subscription, I cannot hold your time slot.

2. Payment Policy

• Lessons are billed through a subscription service on this website.

• If a payment is declined, you will automatically receive an email prompting you to update your payment method. The system will attempt to process the payment again after five days.

• I personally do not have access to your billing information and cannot modify it on your behalf. All payments are handled securely through the website’s subscription system.

3. Lesson Scheduling and Attendance Policy

• If you need to cancel a lesson, please provide at least six hours notice. Cancellations with less than six hours notice will result in a forfeited lesson and will not be eligible for a make-up.

• Missed lessons are not credited or refunded. While make-up lessons are not guaranteed and may sometimes be impossible to schedule, I offer them as a courtesy when possible. Make-ups must be requested and rescheduled within two weeks of the original lesson date. Unused make-up opportunities will expire after this period.

• Lessons missed due to teacher absences will be credited $20 per canceled lesson.

4. Discontinuation of Lessons Policy

• If you wish to discontinue lessons, please provide at least two weeks notice.

• Your subscription must remain active to hold your lesson time. If you cancel your subscription, your time slot will no longer be guaranteed.

• Students are welcome to rejoin after a break, but availability will depend on my current schedule.

• You are welcome to continue attending lessons through the end of your billing cycle if you choose to discontinue.

• Subscription fees are not prorated or refunded for mid-month cancellations.

5. In-Person Lessons

• In-person lessons take place at my home, located at 5812 Friendship Circle, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72404.

• Please park in the driveway, not on the street. I will wave you in as soon as I am ready to begin your lesson.

• Please do not ring the doorbell or knock, as I keep a close watch on my schedule and may be finishing up a virtual lesson in another part of the house.

6. Virtual Lessons

• Students will be contacted on their preferred device at their scheduled lesson time. A few minutes before the lesson, students may text me to indicate readiness, but I will initiate the call.

• Most virtual lessons are conducted via FaceTime, though other options are available.

• To ensure the best experience, it is recommended to place the device on a tripod or music stand so that a student’s hands are visible.

• For younger students, a parent or guardian is encouraged to be present during the first few lessons to assist if needed.

7. Holidays and Teacher Time Off Policy

• Lessons will not be held on the following days:

• New Year’s Break: January 1 through January 3

• Memorial Day

• Independence Day

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving Week: Tuesday through Friday

• Winter Break: December 20 through December 31

• If your lesson falls on any of these days, it will not be rescheduled or credited. The flat monthly fee accounts for these holidays throughout the year because some billing cycles will have four lessons while others will have five, balancing out over time.
